Our Story

In early spring, 2015, against a backdrop of wet grey skies and beige food, Mama Shabz set up shop in a newly thriving and multicultural Berlin; a city waiting patiently to wet it's palette and satiate it's yet unappeased appetite for new and exciting flavours from all over the world. Inspired by a cultural heritage renowned for it's vibrant spices, flavours and colours, Mama Shabz draws upon a multitude of food philosophies from her home land. Freshly farmed produce, generations old cooking techniques, and most importantly, recipes and memories passed along to her from her own mother.
